The pinnacle of the Conn Creek portfolio and a direct homage to the winery’s 1973
founding, Class of ’73 is a Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (85%), Merlot
(10%), and Petit Verdot (5%). The wine receives an exceptionally extended thirty-two
months of barrel aging in 60% new French oak from Nadalie, Boutes, and Radoux – the
longest élevage in the Conn Creek range, designed to build the structural architecture
required of a wine intended for serious cellaring. Production is held to sixteen barrels.
The debut vintage marked Jean Hoefliger’s first full statement as Conn Creek’s
winemaker, setting the standard for the house’s top cuvée going forward.
