Overview

The NV14 is the richest, most dense Cain Cuvée ever bottled. Built from the 2013 and
2014 harvests – the North Coast drought years – it draws structure and complexity from
2013, while 2014, the more severe and restrained of the two, adds backbone. The wine
also illustrates Cain’s commitment to wines that transcend fruit: native fermentations
bring savory complexity – yeasty, meaty, even earthy notes – together with a satisfying,
mouthfilling sensation. Dense but eminently drinkable, as Cain Cuvée has been since the
first release in 1990.
